HPBOSE: Students Will Also Get Marks For Writing One Line Of Answer, Step Wise Marking System Will Be Implemented
Himachal Pradesh School Education Board is planning to implement step wise marking system. Its proposal is being prepared and sent to the government. By implementing the step wise marking system, the candidates will be greatly benefited and they will definitely write the answer to every question asked as much as they know.

- HPBOSE: Students Will Also Get Marks For Writing One Line Of Answer, Pass Percentage Will Increase.
Himachal Pradesh School Education Board is going to provide big relief to the students. Now all the students will be given marks according to the lines written as answers to the questions asked in the examination. That means, even if students write one line of answer to the question, they will still get marks. The board is planning to implement step wise marking system in answer book evaluation in the academic session 2024-25. If students write down whatever answer they know to the question asked in the exam, they will get marks according to the lines written. The move by the Education Board will not only increase the pass percentage of the candidates, but it will also benefit the students.
Know what will be the benefit to the students –
With the introduction of step wise marking system, students will benefit that they will not leave the questions incomplete. Earlier it used to be that students would leave the question even after knowing half the steps, but now students will definitely solve at least as many steps as they know. Students will know that they will get marks for writing the steps, so they will be able to get at least half the marks by solving the question to some extent. This way students will not leave any question. If students prepare well by understanding this marking system, they will not fail.
