Shimla, 02 July: Many questions have been raised by the candidates regarding the HPAS examination conducted by Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) on Sunday. Candidates say that this time the level of the examination has been increased a lot. Along with this, questions were asked outside the syllabus. Regarding this, the candidates have complained to the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) through mail and have also demanded grace marks.

Candidates say that this paper was to check the ability of the candidate, but it was mainly based on mathematics. Along with this, the aptitude test was more focused on main mathematics with only 20 English questions. Mathematics was of 12th level, while it is clearly mentioned in the advertisement that 10th level mathematics will be asked. Due to this qualifying paper-2, many eligible candidates will be deprived of the main examination.

In the case of aptitude test, if the candidates spend time solving these wrong questions, then a lot of time gets wasted. It has been demanded that grace marks should be given to all the candidates to compensate for the difficulty level of Paper-2 this year. These are such issues which are not paid attention to for a long time and the candidates have to face mental agony.

It should be noted that 57.5 percent candidates appeared for the examination in 119 centers of Himachal Pradesh. In this, 119 examination centers were set up by the Public Service Commission in the entire state. This time 32372 candidates had applied, out of which only 18706 candidates reached the examination centers.

On the other hand, Sushma Vats, Additional Director of Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) said that no complaint has been received at present. If a complaint comes, then only a decision will be taken regarding the next action.
