HP Vigilance has arrested three candidates in the post code 962 paper leak case of Secretariat Clerk recruitment done through the dissolved Staff Selection Commission. These include brother-in-law, sister and wife of suspended traffic inspector Ravi Kumar. Along with Ravi Kumar and Sohan, Uma Azad was arrested by Vigilance in the case on February 9. In this case, three candidates were arrested late on Monday evening. Vigilance has produced the accused in the court, from where all three have been sent on police remand till February 15, while the other two accused have been sent to judicial custody for 14 days.

Vigilance investigation has revealed that Ravi Kumar had provided secretariat clerk recruitment form to his brother-in-law Ravi, sister and wife.

On April 29, 2023, Vigilance had registered an FIR in the post code 962 State Secretariat Clerk Recruitment case. In this case, accused Ravi, Sohan and Uma Azad were arrested on February 9.

Now accused Ravi’s wife Sapna Kumari resident of Hamirpur, brother-in-law Ravi resident of Kangra and sister Sapna Devi resident of Kangra have been arrested. All the accused have been presented in the court on Tuesday. Ravi’s wife and sister have been sent to judicial custody for 14 days by the court, while brother-in-law Ravi has been sent on remand till 15 February. The court has also sent the accused Sohan and Ravi on remand till 15th February. These three accused will be presented in the court on February 15.
