In Himachal Pradesh, 2600 doctors have gone on strike for two and a half hours every day from today. From 9:30 am to 12:00 noon, doctors are not providing treatment to patients in primary health centers and district hospitals.

Patients are facing problems due to the doctors’ strike on Tuesday morning. Doctors have gone on strike in hospitals across Himachal Pradesh.

Himachal Medical Officers Association says that they are going to remain on strike until the Himachal government does not accept their demands.

On the other hand, after March 5, the doctors of Himachal Pradesh are going to be on mass leave.

Doctors have also gone on strike in Dharamshala Hospital and Kullu. Due to which patients are sitting and waiting outside the OPD.

Doctors have started strike at Mahatma Gandhi Khaneri Hospital. Due to which the problems of the patients are increasing.

Doctors seen missing from OPD since morning, no one is worried about patients –

Due to the regional strike in the hospitals of Solan district, doctors are not sitting in OPD from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm, due to which the patients are facing a lot of trouble.

In Solan district, patients are getting treatment facilities only in emergency situations. Earlier, doctors of Himachal Pradesh were providing services in hospitals wearing black badges. But after the doctors did not receive the agenda of the meeting held with the Himachal government on February 13, they have now decided to go on a pen down strike.

Himachal Pradesh District Medical Association President Dr. Kamal Atwal told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that Doctors has five main demands. In this, restoration of NPA is the main demand.

Also, Himachal Pradesh District Doctors Association has demanded that the Health Director should be removed from the post of Deputy Mission Director because the association does not accept that the Health Director should work subordinate to any other Director.

These are the demands of the doctors of the state –

The doctors of the state are demanding to give the charge of Project Director in NPA, AIDS Control Society to the Health Director and to return the powers of the Principal and MS of the Medical College. Apart from this, Himachal District Medical Association says that the main points of the meeting held with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on February 13 have not been taken out.

This is the reason why doctors are now on strike in the entire Himachal Pradesh for their demands.

Patients are facing problems due to strike of doctors in Una district –

On Tuesday, people are facing problems due to the strike of doctors in the regional hospital Una.

People who have come from remote areas for treatment at Una Regional Hospital since 9:00 am are facing a lot of trouble.

The situation was such that the patients kept waiting for the doctors outside the OPD with the slip. But the doctor sat for treatment in OPD at 12:00.

On this, Dr. Vikas Chauhan, senior medical officer of the regional hospital, said that the doctors have been on strike for their demands.

However, emergency health services have continued during the strike.

On the other hand, in Civil Hospital Bhoranj, Badsar, Tauni Devi, Nadaun and CHC and PHC of Hamirpur district, patients have been wandering here and there for treatment from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Gate meeting conducted by doctors at Civil Hospital Paonta Sahib –

The gate meeting of Himachal Medical Officers Association Sirmaur has been organized under the chairmanship of President Dr. Piyush Tiwari. Dr. Anant Vijay Raghav, State Vice President and all the medical officers of Civil Hospital Paonta Sahib have participated in the gate meeting. OPD has been affected from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm due to doctors leaving their pens on strike. Dr. Anant Vijay Raghav and Dr. Piyush Tiwari said that the key points of the February 13 meeting with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu have not yet been shared with the Himachal Pradesh District Doctors Association.
