Hp Cabinet Meeting Decisions Today: Approval of Formation of Seventh State Finance Commission, Their Honorarium Will Increase, Know Big Decisions
Himachal Pradesh Cabinet meeting was held in Shimla on Thursday evening under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. Many big decisions have been taken in the meeting. According to the announcement made by the CM in the budget speech in the meeting, the increase in honorarium of computer teachers, SMC teachers, multi task workers has been approved from April 1, 2024. In the Cabinet meeting, it was decided to constitute the Seventh State Finance Commission to review the financial position of Gram Panchayats and Municipal Bodies and to provide recommendations in this regard to the State Government.

In the meeting, it was decided to bring 1.5 lakh workers, Asha workers, Anganwadi workers and helpers registered under Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board under Ayushman Bharat Scheme. The Cabinet decided to include more items under Himachal Pradesh Industrial Investment Policy-2019 so as to attract more investment in various service sectors like Information Technology, AYUSH, Health, Tourism and Education etc.
The Cabinet gave its approval to adopt direct benefit transfer method up to an amount of Rs 25 thousand to meritorious students under Srinivas Ramanujan Digital Device Scheme. Bright students of the school will now buy laptops themselves. Elderly people above 70 years of age will get free treatment in the hospital.
Approval was also given to the appointment of 140 Ayurvedic Medical Officers to provide better health facilities to the people of the state. The Cabinet decided to upgrade 50 bed capacity Civil Hospital Sunni in Shimla district to 100 bed capacity Civil Hospital.
It was also decided to open a new development block at Surani in Jwalamukhi assembly constituency of Kangra district. The Cabinet decided to upgrade Government Primary School, Baghi in Kotkhai area of Shimla district to Government Central Primary School.
