HP Budget Session: Harsh Vardhan Said – HP Government Will Collect Rs 100 Crore From Cess on Liquor By The End of This Year

Rs 90 crore has been collected. Rs 100 crore is going to be collected by the end of this financial year. In the last four years, liquor contracts were auctioned.

Himachal Pradesh Government’s Industries and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Harsh Vardhan Chauhan said that an amount of more than Rs 12 crore has been released by the Himachal Pradesh Government. 90 percent of the amount has also been spent. All efforts are being made to benefit the public. It is being seen under the Disaster Management Act, where there is no land, then you can take advantage of this Act. The case of Sarkaghat is also being looked into. Budget has been given to all departments. The Public Works Department will be told that a solution should be found in Sarkaghat.
Sarkaghat BJP MLA Dalip Thakur said that his area has suffered the maximum loss in the natural disaster. Information regarding the amount released was also sought. Many people also belong to Scheduled Caste. It was not decided as to when the land would be given. Where will a person who does not have land build a house? HRTC buses are not able to ply on the roads in their area which were closed at the time of the disaster. Efforts should be made to provide land to the people.

Ayurveda students are not being given stipend –
BJP MLA Satpal Singh Satti told the Himachal government that when Ayurveda students go to study after taking similar tests, they are not given stipend during internship. Is the Himachal government considering the discrimination that has taken place?
AYUSH Minister Yadavindra Goma said that if private institutions want to give stipend at their own level, they can give it.

AYUSH Minister Goma said that when the proposal was sent to the Central Government during the previous government, the issue was raised at that time also. Results of power department itself are not good: Chandra Kumar
BJP MLA Balveer Singh Verma questioned that 79 schemes have been approved under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana. He said that instead of submitting these schemes to the Soil Conservation Division, they should be given to the Jal Shakti Department. These should be implemented technically.
On this, Agriculture Minister Chandra Kumar said that Jal Shakti Department has only big plans. The results of the Jal Shakti Department itself are not good. This department has been with him himself.
