Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that advertisements are going to be issued this month to fill 20 thousand posts of various categories in Himachal Pradesh.

CM Sukhu said that Himachal government has made 2,500 appointments. Appointment letters of 2500 recruits are going to be given in April.

During the question hour on the third day of the budget session of the Assembly on Friday, Chief Minister Sukhu said that it has been talked about providing one lakh jobs every year. Employment is not only a government job. Providing self-employment opportunities is also included in employment. CM Sukhu said that it is taking time to create a strong infrastructure for the new recruitment commission. Computer Based Examinations (CBT) are going to be held in Himachal Pradesh soon.

State Public Service Commission is also doing recruitment. As soon as the new commission starts, the recruitment processes from Public Service Commission are going to be shifted to Hamirpur Commission. BJP MLA Rakesh Jamwal had raised the issue of Sanan Committee recommendations and starting the recruitment process during the Question Hour. In response, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that this matter is related to the future of thousands of youth.

On December 26, 2022, the matter had come to his notice that papers were being leaked in the Commission. When a vigilance investigation was conducted, it was found that this racket had been going on for many years. Those who were not eligible were selected by leaking the papers. To save the youth from this fraud, the commission has been dissolved and a committee has been formed under the chairmanship of retired officer Deepak Sanan. This committee was asked to submit its report in three months, but when the committee meetings were held, it took time to complete many other formalities, from finalizing fresh recruitment and promotion rules. CM Sukhu said that the State Public Service Commission is also going to conduct the police recruitment examination. The police is going to conduct a physical examination. In the new recruitment commission, the examination will be computer based (CBT based) and question papers will also be set on computer only.

CM Sukhu said that it is being ensured that corruption like paper leak does not happen again.
