Hotel Royal Retreat’s Head in Front Office Nihal embezzled Rs 3 lakh 84 thousand in Shimla, FIR in Boileauganj
Shimla, July 19: An employee of a private hotel in Boileauganj suburb of Himachal Pradesh’s capital Shimla has embezzled Rs 3.84 lakh from the hotel. This was revealed in the internal audit of the hotel’s CA. After this, the hotel management registered a case of fraud against the employee.
Hotel Royal Retreat Dingal Estate’s managing partner Sumit Sood has complained to the Boileauganj police that the hotel’s head in front office Nihal has committed a fraud of about Rs 3 lakh 84 thousand in the hotel. According to the case, the accused hotel employee had manipulated the bills at many places. When the chartered accountant authorized by the hotel audited the expenses and income, the hotel employee’s fraud came to light.
DSP City Manvendra Thakur said that action is being taken by registering a case of fraud against the accused hotel employee.
