New Delhi: Honda Cars India on Thursday announced an industry-first extended warranty programme offering unlimited kilometre coverage for up to seven years. The extended warranty is offered on petrol variants of the existing model range of Elevate, City, City e:HEV and Amaze. The programme is also offered on petrol variants of other models Civic, Jazz and WR-V, if a customer is already enrolled for the extended warranty program.
Customers can opt for a seven-year, unlimited kilometre extended warranty within two years from the date of purchase of the car, as well as other options available till the end of the standard warranty. Existing customers who have extended warranty till the fourth and fifth year can also opt for a warranty extension of up to seven years or 1,50,000 kilometres (whichever is earlier). The extended warranty purchased is transferable and will increase the value of the car at the time of resale.
Under unlimited coverage, extended protection is provided beyond the standard warranty. The extended warranty is the coverage for repair or replacement of parts that prove to be defective as per the terms and conditions, with the customer paying no charge for both parts and labour. The service can be availed across Honda’s extensive pan-India dealer service network.
