Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, May 13:An FIR has been lodged at Chotta Shimla police station by senior Congress party worker Pramod Gupta over a tweet falsely claiming property worth Rs 3000 crore in the name of Miraya Vadra, daughter of Indian National Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi.

The complainant from the Congress Party, while registering an FIR before the Chhota Shimla Police In-charge, has said that On Friday, May 10, a person named Anoop Verma, through his Twitter handle, has falsely tweeted about property worth Rs 3000 crore in the name of Miraya Vadra, daughter of Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi.He said that through wrong tweets, an attempt is being made to mislead the public by showing the wrong image of the Congress Party during the Lok Sabha elections.

 

Chotta Shimla police in-charge has registered an FIR against Anoop Verma under sections 153,469, 500 and 505 of IPC on the complaint of the complainant.
