Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, May 31Campaigning has stopped for four Lok Sabha seats and six assembly by-election seats in Himachal Pradesh on Saturday, June 1.All preparations have been completed by the Election Commission to conduct successful voting in Himachal Pradesh.

Polling parties for the polling stations of Himachal Pradesh have also left for their respective destinations and the voting process will be completed on June 1, Saturday from 7 am to 6 pm.

A total of 7992 polling stations have been set up by the Election Commission in Himachal Pradesh for the voting process.Basic facilities have also been made available for voters in all 7992 polling stations in Himachal Pradesh.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Maneesh Garg said that all preparations have been completed by the Election Department to ensure successful completion of the voting process in the state and the rehearsal of all the employees engaged in polling duty has also been completed.

He informed that polling parties have been dispatched to all 7992 polling booths in Himachal Pradesh,

Along with this, polling parties will be dispatched to some nearby polling booths on Friday as well.

He said that strong police forces have been deployed for security arrangements at all polling booths in the state.
