Himachal Tourism – HPTDC Gave 30 to 50 Percent Discount In Its Packages For Hotels And Home Stays In The Month of October.

All the private hotel operators and home stay operators of Himachal Pradesh are providing 30 to 50 percent discount package for the tourists making advance booking in the month of October. Meanwhile, tourists have started gathering in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh.
In order to bring the tourism of Himachal Pradesh back on track and to establish the movement of tourists again, Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) has now extended the period of 20 to 50 percent discount on booking of all hotels and home stays in the state till 31st October. Due to which all the private hotel operators and home stay operators of Himachal Pradesh have also started giving 30 to 50 percent discount in tourism packages. Due to lack of road connectivity after the devastating rains, landslides and floods in Himachal Pradesh, all the tourists had to turn to Jammu and Kashmir instead of Himachal. Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) is giving 30 to 50 percent discount in the packages to bring the tourists back to Himachal Pradesh.
In the month of October, especially due to Navratri and Durga Puja, the number of tourists in Himachal Pradesh increases significantly.
Himachal Pradesh Travel Agents Association General Secretary Manu Sood said that in order to attract tourists to Himachal Pradesh, hotel operators and home stay operators of Himachal Pradesh have taken a historic decision on booking rooms at 30 to 50 percent discount. At the same time, home stay operators are providing the facility of free breakfast and dinner on booking of second room.
Mr. Pratap Chauhan, director of home stay Anjayath Vaas located in Narkanda Hatu, told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that 20 to 50 percent discount has been given by tourists on package and room booking.
In order to bring tourism back on track after the heart-wrenching disaster in Himachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) has imposed a 20-month period on booking of rooms in all hotels and home stays in Himachal Pradesh to attract tourists. The period of 50 percent discount has been extended till October 31. Besides, Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation is also giving discounts in special packages to attract tourists.

Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation released special Tribal Site Scene Tour Package –
Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation, while announcing a two-day Tribal Site Scene Tour Package to attract tourists, said that with this package, tourists will reach Manali again from Manali via Keylong, after Baralacha Pass, via Triloknath, Udaipur.
In the one day Rohtang Site Scene package, tourists will be brought from Manali to Rohtang Pass and back to Manali from Sisu. In the one day Tribal Site Scene Tour Package, tourists will again depart for Manali via Trilokinath and Udaipur.
