Himachal Pradesh government will show aggressive attitude in the budget session of Himachal Pradesh Assembly. Under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, a strategy was made for the budget session at Hotel Peterhof in Shimla on Tuesday evening. In the budget session, Congress will corner the opposition by making the financial mismanagement of the previous BJP government and the debt left by the state the main issue. State Congress President Pratibha Singh was also present in the meeting.
In the meeting, Congress MLAs were instructed to vigorously raise the government’s schemes. Congress MLAs will also raise in the House the non-cooperation of the Central Government and the BJP regarding the natural disaster caused by heavy rains last year. Sukhu asked all Congress MLAs to ensure their presence in the House throughout the time. The BJP legislature party meeting will be held in the assembly premises on Wednesday afternoon.

Dharamshala MLA and former minister Sudhir Sharma and Sujanpur MLA and Congress working state president Rajendra Rana did not attend the meeting. Doubt continues regarding the name of Rajya Sabha candidate
There is still doubt regarding the Congress candidate going to Rajya Sabha from Himachal Pradesh. It was told in the meeting that the name of the candidate will be decided by the high command. The chances of former Congress national president Sonia Gandhi going to Rajya Sabha from Himachal have reduced. According to party sources, Sonia can go to Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan. Now there is speculation about the names of Congress leaders Ajay Maken and Anand Sharma. Nomination papers are to be filed in the State Assembly for the Rajya Sabha elections by 5 pm on 15th February. In such a situation, it is possible that on Wednesday the name of the candidate to be sent to Rajya Sabha from Himachal Pradesh by Congress will be announced. On the other hand, Chief Minister Sukhu said that he does not yet know who will go to Rajya Sabha.
