Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, May 20A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, in which a seventeen-year-old minor girl has become a victim of rape.
The most shameful thing is that both the brothers of the victim have committed this crime.
What is even more shameful has been revealed that the first accused elder brother of the victim is forty-three years old and the second accused younger brother is twenty-four years old.
The victim was taken to the two accused brothers for rape by the third accused, after which the victim became pregnant.
Shimla Police has registered a case under various criminal sections including rape, POCSO and other criminal sections against both the accused brothers who made the victim pregnant as well as the third person who took the victim to the accused and started further action on the basis of the complaint of the victim’s maternal uncle.Â
The absolutely heart-wrenching incident has taken place in Kupvi police station area under Chopal sub-division of the capital Shimla.
The maternal uncle of the seventeen-year-old minor has lodged a complaint with the Kupvi police station in-charge, saying that his niece was taken to the house of his two accused real brothers in Kupvi by a person from the Kupvi area.
After which, Sant Ram and the minor girl’s brother Sanju raped the minor girl and made her pregnant.

The maternal uncle has also told in the complaint to the Kupavi police station in-charge that the three accused Sant Ram, Sanju and another person had made his niece pregnant and also assaulted her, due to which the niece suffered serious injuries on her body.
DSP Chopal Sushant Sharma said that on the basis of the complaint of the victim’s maternal uncle, the Kupvi police station in-charge has registered a case under sections 366A, 376, 372, 323, 506, 34 of IPC and POCSO Act regarding this heart-wrenching case.
All three accused will be caught within 24 hours and taken on remand.
He said that after getting the medical tests of the victim done, all the statements of the victim were recorded before the Magistrate in the court on Monday under Section 164.
