Himachal Shocked: Sixteen year old girl from Himachal forced to drink liquor and gang-raped, all accused absconding

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Una, May 27A heart-wrenching case of gang rape of a 16-year-old minor girl from a village near Una district headquarters of Himachal Pradesh has come to light.This despicable act of gang rape has been carried out by an accused boy from Punjab and his friends.The most heartbreaking thing is that the accused boy from Punjab and his friends have committed this heinous act by forcing a sixteen year old minor girl to drink alcohol before gang-raping her.

Una District Police Administration has started action to arrest the accused by registering a case under various sections against the accused boy from Punjab and his friends.

An officer of the Una district police administration said that the accused boy and his friend from Punjab were so clever that they first forced the sixteen year old minor girl to drink alcohol and then committed a despicable act like gang rape, The accused boy from Punjab and his friends packed the victim girl in the back trunk of his uncle’s car and ran away.

The officer said that the victim, a sixteen year old minor girl, is studying in class XI in a government senior secondary school in the village of Una district.A month ago, during her studies, a sixteen year old minor girl had become friends with a boy named Main Accused Sunny from Punjab. Main Accused Sunny used to drive a truck in a village in Haroli sub-division of Una district.

The main accused Sunny had taken the mobile number of a sixteen year old minor girl and started talking with her. Then the accused youth Sunny started talking about love with the victim on the pretext of friendship.

The sixteen-year-old minor girl said that last Sunday the accused Sunny had called her over phone to go and pay obeisance at a religious place under Una district headquarters.

The minor girl said yes, after which the accused Sunny told the victim girl that I have sent the scooter of one of my friends to take you to a religious place, come sit in that scooter.

After paying obeisance at the religious place, the accused youth Sunny took the minor girl to a room of a nearby shop And in the room, the accused young man Sunny and his friends forced the minor girl to drink a lot of liquor and after making her drunk, the main accused Sunny, a resident of Jalandhar, Punjab, and his friends committed the heinous incident of gang rape.

After intoxicating a sixteen year old minor girl in the shop room, the main accused Sunny and his friends took the victim girl to a deserted place towards Haroli sub-division of Una district and there the main accused Sunny first raped the girl, After that his friends also committed the heinous act of rape with the victim girl.After gang rape, the main accused Sunny and his friends packed the victim girl in the trunk of her uncle’s car and fled from the spot.When the girl regained consciousness on Monday morning, she found herself locked in the trunk of the car and called her family and informed them about the entire incident.

Una District Police Administration Superintendent Rakesh Singh said that the teams of Haroli Police Station have registered a case under various sections in connection with this heinous incident and have started investigating the matter. Soon all the accused will be nabbed and taken on remand.
