Himachal Pradesh's Vedansh selected in Indian National Basketball Team
Hamirpur, 07 July: Vedansh, son of Dera Parol of Bhoranj subdivision of Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh, has been selected in the Indian national basketball team and will represent India in the Under-18 International Basketball Competition to be held from 10th to 13th July in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka.
The Indian national basketball team left from Chennai on Sunday to participate in the Under-18 International Basketball Championship starting in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka.
Son Vedansh, born on 3 February 2006 in Dera Parol of Bhoranj sub-division of Hamirpur district, is the best player of basketball and Vedansh has also performed brilliantly in school games.
Let us tell you that both the parents of son Vedansh are the best basketball players. The sports talent of the parents has influenced son Vedansh. Vedansh has already proved his talent in the Under-14 and Under-17 basketball competitions.
To fulfill his dream of playing in the Indian national basketball team, Vedansh has got his selection confirmed in the Indian national basketball team by taking coaching at the National Basketball Academy, Noida.
Son Vedansh’s mother Nivedita ji has also been the best basketball player in Chandigarh University and currently Nivedita ji is giving basketball coaching to children in Chandigarh, while son Vedansh’s father Suresh Ranaut works as a deputy general manager in ONGC company in Dehradun. Son Vedansh’s father Suresh Ranaut has also displayed his talent in basketball at the national level.
