Retired IAS officer of Himachal Pradesh cadre Tarun Kapoor is once again going to take over the most important post of advisor to PM Modi. Tarun Kapoor has been appointed as PM Modi’s advisor for the next two years and he will again take over the responsibility of the secretary level.
Let us tell you that in NDA 2.0, former IAS Tarun Kapoor was entrusted with the responsibility of PM Modi’s advisor for the next two years from May 2022.
Former IAS Tarun Kapoor is a 1987 batch IAS officer of Himachal Pradesh cadre. On 30 November 2021, IAS Tarun Kapoor retired from the post of Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas on central deputation.
Very cheerful IAS Tarun Kapoor belongs to Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. He has lived in Longwood, Shimla, his father has been a top officer of Himachal Pradesh Electricity Board.
It is worth noting that former IAS Tarun Kapoor has held the responsibility of Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Electricity, Forest, Urban Development in the Himachal Pradesh government. Along with this, IAS Tarun Kapoor has also been the Deputy Commissioner of Shimla district.
