Actually, on Tuesday, Rishita, aged twenty years, wife of Ranjit, resident of Kupvi, called 108 ambulance at 5:39 am in the morning and was informed by the family members that Rishita was suddenly having severe labor pains at home.
Immediately after which EMT Vinod and Pilot Ramesh were given the important responsibility of Rishita’s case, and 108 ambulance was sent to Kupvi with the team of CHC Haripurdhar.
As soon as 108 ambulance reached Kupvi, it was found that Rishita’s labor pain had increased so much that if emergency delivery was not done, she could even die.
When Rishita was first checked by EMT Vinod, it was found that the umbilical cord of the child in Rishita’s stomach had reached Rishita’s neck while she was moaning in pain, And if emergency delivery is not done then both the child and mother Rishita may die.
EMT Vinod immediately showed his responsibility and established contact with his ERCP doctor AK. Anthal, And informed Dr. AK. Anthal about the complete report of the case.
Following the instructions given by Dr. Anthal, the 108 ambulance staff immediately got Rishita’s emergency delivery done on the way, after which Rishita gave birth to a son at 7:21 in the morning, And the staff of 108 ambulance has given a new life to Rishita by successfully delivering her. Now both Rishita and her son are healthy.
EMT Vinod, who successfully delivered Rishita, said that even today in Himachal Pradesh, people are not able to get health facilities and many times emergency delivery has cost the life of a woman.
EMT Vinod said that for the women of Himachal Pradesh, many lives are being saved by the service of 108 ambulance in the isolated mountains.
EMT Vinod said that this is not the first case of emergency delivery, this type of emergency delivery causes a lot of problems to the woman’s family.
EMT Vinod said that during his service of 108 ambulances in Himachal Pradesh for the last thirteen years, he has successfully delivered the deliveries of 450 women in ambulances.
EMT Vinod said that his role model is Dr. Lalit Mahajan who is serving as gynecologist in Nahan Medical College, Sirmour.
