Shimla – Thirteen old Acts in the entire Himachal Pradesh have been completely abolished by the Himachal Pradesh Government after the approval of the Honourable Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla.

According to the proposal of the Sukhu Government of Himachal Pradesh, the Himachal Pradesh Repeal Bill-2023, passed in the monsoon session of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly, has now come under the legal process.

Himachal Pradesh government decided to abolish thirteen old acts after the approval of Governor Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla –

It has been decided to abolish thirteen old legal acts of entire Himachal Pradesh after getting the approval of Governor Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla.

The Himachal Pradesh Repeal Bill-2023, proposed by the Sukhu Government of Himachal Pradesh and passed in the monsoon session of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly, has now been approved under the legal process.

After getting the complete approval of the Honourable Governor of Himachal Pradesh Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla, approval has been given to abolish all thirteen legal acts, due to which the entire notification has been issued on Thursday.

Also, as part of the entire process, an important proposal of recommending abolition of thirteen legal acts of Himachal Pradesh was now included.

Under the thirteen legal acts, it has been decided to completely abolish three legal acts as they were made during the British era.

Also, in thirteen legal acts, former Chief Ministers of Himachal Pradesh, Dr. These have been made and implemented during the tenure of the governments of YS Parmar, Ramlal Thakur, Virbhadra Singh as well as Premkumar Dhumal.

The present Sukhu government of Himachal Pradesh has taken an important decision to abolish all the thirteen legal acts after the approval of Governor Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla as they were made by the British and were useless.

The Sukhu government of the present Congress Party completely abolished these thirteen legal acts –

Thirteen legal acts by the Himachal Pradesh government of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu include Presidency Minority Court Act 1882, Farmers’ Loan Act 1884, Provincial Minority Court Act 1887, Mandi Minor Forest Produce Exploitation and Disposal Act 1997, Chamba Minor Forest Produce Exploitation and Disposal Act 2003, Punjab Approval of Tobacco Vendors Fee Repeal Act 1953, Himachal Pradesh Individual Forest Act 1954, Punjab Labor Welfare Fund Act 1965 and Punjab Profession, Trade, Livelihood and Employment Taxation (Himachal Pradesh Repeal) Act 1968 by Honourable Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla. After this, an important decision has been taken to end it.

Also, the present Congress government of Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has enacted Himachal Pradesh Forest Preservation and Forest-Based Essential Commodities Act 1984, Himachal Pradesh Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishment) Act 1999, Himachal Pradesh Medical Council Act 2003. And an important decision has also been taken to abolish the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Tribunal (Transfer of Decided, Pending Cases and Applications) Act 2008 after getting the approval of the Honourable Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla.
