After three days of heavy rains, floods and landslides in the state, life in the state has still not been back on track.
Improvement in the weather has accelerated the relief and rescue operations being carried out to evacuate tourists stranded at remote tourist places of the state due to incidents of landslides and floods.
One hundred and eighteen tourists have been safely evacuated from there.
On the other hand, one hundred and eighteen tourists stranded in this Sangla of Kinnaur district have also been safely evacuated through Air Force helicopter.
About three hundred people stranded in Lahaul Spiti’s Chandratal Lake area. have been safely evacuated to Losar today.
All these people from Losar have reached Kaza where they are being given first aid.
Deputy Commissioner of Lahaul Spiti, Rahul Kumar said that among those evacuated safely, one hundred and sixty-five tourists, seventy-three The camps operator and ten sheep keepers are included.
Apart from this, fifty-three people have also been rescued from Batal.
These people were rescued after clearing snow on the thirty-six kilometer road.
Superintendent of Police Mayank Chaudhary was present in Chandratal along with these people who were stuck in Chaddartal for six days and the administration But he kept giving messages to the government through radio messages.

Tribal Development and Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi himself reached Chandertal and monitored the relief and rescue operation.
Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sanjay Awasthi was also with him.
On the other hand, due to the blockade of the road in Sangla of Kinnaur district, one stranded for the last several days.
Hundred and eighteen tourists were brought to Karcham helipad today by Air Force helicopter.
From where these tourists have been sent to Shimla and Chandigarh through buses by the district administration.
Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu himself reached Karcham and evacuated them. Met the tourists and inquired about their well being.
On this occasion, he said that in this hour of disaster, the government is providing all possible help to the victims. He said that the priority of the government is to immediately restore facilities like electricity, roads and water so that life can become normal.
Here, a huge rock fell on a car coming from Sangrah to Nahan in Sirmour district. In this incident, the car was shattered. However, there was no known loss in the incident.
Traffic remained smooth on all internal routes of capital Shimla.
Chamba-Bharmour road in Chamba district is currently closed for traffic.
The Shimla-Chandigarh National Highway was also blocked this morning due to landslides at several places on the beach of Parwanoo and Jawali, which have now been restored.

People in the capital Shimla are facing severe drinking water crisis.

This water is enough to supply drinking water in the city except for one day, but at present Shimla Water Management Corporation is engaged in regular supply of water to VIP areas.
One thousand eighteen roads including two national highways are still closed in the state.
Apart from this, two 1498 electrical transformers and 1244 drinking water schemes are also at a standstill. Due to this, people are facing a lot of problems.
The meteorological department has predicted heavy rains at different places in the state from today till July 17 Yellow alert has been issued.
