Even today, there are many such areas in the state which are deprived of road facilities even after 75 years of independence and people have to walk about ten kilometers to reach the road.
Juri Panchayat of Churah Assembly Constituency in Chamba district is also among these where the road has not yet reached and the population of this panchayat is about two thousand and people have to travel eight to ten kilometers on foot every day.
Even after seven decades of independence, the road facility has not reached the very remote jury panchayat of Churah assembly constituency under Chamba district, due to which the villagers have to face a lot of problems.
From here the villagers have to travel eight to ten kilometers on foot every day. Only after that he leaves towards his destination. Please tell that the population of this panchayat is around two thousand and people are facing a lot of problems.
This is the area of Juri Panchayat where government facilities have not reached even after seven decades of independence, due to which people have become upset. People have repeatedly spoken to the government, but in spite of that the road facility has not reached.
However, the difficulty increases when someone falls ill in these areas or a pregnant woman has to be taken to the hospital. People have to be brought from here with the help of Palghar and reach the road after traveling eight to ten kilometers on foot.
In such a situation, people have demanded from the government that work should be done to connect Jury Panchayat with road facilities so that they do not have to face huge problems.
