On the third day of the winter session of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly, all the opposition MLAs of the Bharatiya Janata Party staged a massive demonstration and sloganeering with milk utensils against the Congress Party’s false guarantee for purchasing milk from the farmers of Himachal Pradesh. Milk has also been purchased by Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs from farmers outside Himachal Pradesh Tapovan Assembly complex through Cash and Google Pay. Before the assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh, the Congress Party had given a false guarantee to the farmers that they would be able to purchase cow milk at the rate of Rs 80 per liter and buffalo milk at the rate of Rs 100 per kg if the government is formed. On the other hand, Himachal Pradesh Government’s Animal Husbandry and Agriculture Department Minister Chandra Kumar told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that the Himachal Pradesh Congress government will fulfill all the ten election guarantees as soon as possible. The entire process of constituting milk committees for purchasing milk from the farmers of Himachal Pradesh has been started.

With the financial assistance of NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development), a milk processing plant is being established by the Government of Himachal Pradesh at Dhagwar in Kangra district. Cabinet meeting was held. Cabinet meetings are sometimes held during the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly session. But it does not happen that the cabinet meeting is started in the middle of the meeting of Himachal Pradesh Assembly.
This is complete contempt of the House of Himachal Pradesh Assembly. The ruling Congress party should not behave in this manner. Himachal Pradesh Government’s Parliamentary Affairs Minister Harsh Vardhan Chauhan said that last day Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu had gone to attend a program and CM Sukhu had authorized Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri to answer. The Leader of Opposition from the Bharatiya Janata Party was not even sitting in the House. It is also completely wrong to say that no one was authorized to conduct the proceedings of the House. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh government and BJP leader of opposition Jairam Thakur was not present in the House at that time. Due to which it was decided to proceed with the House meeting.
CM Sukhu said that many such meetings had been organized even during the tenure of former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur. All the Cabinet Ministers of Himachal Pradesh Government were present in the House to answer questions. CM Sukhu said that BJP leader of opposition Jai Ram Thakur is making such allegations just to remain in the headlines of newspapers. Opposition Bharatiya Janata Party should participate in the discussion of Himachal Pradesh Assembly by raising all the serious issues of the people of Himachal Pradesh in the right manner. Himachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania said that the meeting was proceeded with only after the permission of the House. Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly is the supreme house.

Some shortcomings were found in the proceedings of the House the previous day. Due to which, on behalf of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Mukesh Agnihotri was authorized to answer during the Question Hour in the House. Now the Question Hour is being started unanimously. After that, the Question Hour has been started at approximately 11:12. The Chief Director of NIT Hamirpur Institute was not even aware of what was going on in the hostel. In Himachal Pradesh, the drug trade is continuously expanding to remote areas. The drug consignment is either being sent from the Pakistan border. Drug consignments are also coming to Himachal Pradesh from Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are also in New Delhi, yet huge consignments of narcotics are coming from Delhi to Himachal Pradesh. The Central Government should also make efforts to ban huge consignments of drugs. Consignments of dangerous drugs originating from Africa are also reaching Himachal Pradesh.
Himachal Pradesh Police is making all-out efforts to curb the consignment of drugs coming from Pakistan through drones. Huge consignments of drugs are like an undeclared war. The youth of Himachal Pradesh have made a huge contribution to important positions in the Indian Army. The way the youth of Himachal Pradesh are getting trapped in drugs. Are the youth of Himachal Pradesh going to be in a position to join the Indian Army in the coming times? A kind of conspiracy is being hatched to make the youth of Himachal Pradesh completely hollow from within by bringing them under the influence of drugs. The foreign youth who come to Himachal Pradesh. Strict action should be taken by Himachal Pradesh government against all those foreign youth also. Small people are being caught by Himachal Pradesh Police. But big fish should also be caught by Himachal Pradesh Police As Well. A separate special task force of Himachal Pradesh Police should be formed to arrest the drug consignment.
On Non-Official Members’ Day, BJP MLA from Paonta Sahib Assembly Constituency Sukhram Chaudhary and MLA from Theog Assembly Constituency Kuldeep Singh Rathore expressed their concern over the continuously increasing drug trade in Himachal Pradesh, recovery of drug consignments from the borders of Himachal Pradesh and A resolution to formulate a comprehensive policy to strengthen the law and order against drugs has also been presented in the House. In the absence of Honourable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu in the House, Deputy Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Government Shri Mukesh Agnihotri has been authorized to answer the entire question.
Sukhram Choudhary, MLA from Paonta Sahib assembly constituency of Sirmaur district, said in the House that due to the increasing drug trade in Himachal Pradesh, entire families are getting ruined. There has been a need for Himachal Pradesh Police teams to keep a special watch on the dhabas, grocery shops etc. located around the educational institutions of Himachal Pradesh. Employees of Himachal Pradesh Police Department are also involved in this dangerous drug trade, special action should be taken against all those policemen. Thousands of youth of Sirmaur district are getting their treatment in de-addiction centers today. Due to small consignment of drugs, sometimes drug mafias are given bail. If any person is involved in drug trade, then special action should be taken against all those drug mafias. Many people of Himachal Pradesh are getting trapped in this dangerous drug trade in an attempt to become rich overnight. To ensure that the lives of the youth of Himachal Pradesh do not get spoiled, it is most necessary to impose a complete ban on the drug trade.
Una district BJP MLA Satpal Singh Satti said in the House that many times leaders have also been found giving patronage. The youth of Himachal Pradesh who do not have any kind of work are continuously getting trapped in the grip of drugs. Huge consignments of drugs are also coming to Himachal Pradesh from the border areas of Himachal Pradesh. There should be officers who get angry. Those officers who do not get angry are not fit for any work. Good officers should be appointed on the border areas of Himachal Pradesh. Drug smugglers should be put in jail. Himachal Pradesh government can at least feed the drug smugglers by putting them in jail. All these drug smugglers will not get a drugs in jail. If the young generation of India gets into drugs today, they will be completely ruined. Today the youth of Punjab have either gone abroad or are completely involved in the drug trade.
