Vikram Chaudhary has cited the reason for his resignation as the Himachal Pradesh government not fulfilling the demands of the OBC category.

Vikram Chaudhary has accused the Sukhu government that even the posts of chairman in the OBC Commission and OBC Finance Corporation were not filled.

Let us tell you that Vikram Chaudhary is the son of Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar. Vikram Chaudhary father Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar has been a minister and Himachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker.

Vikram Chaudhary has also accused the Sukhu government that after the formation of the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh in December 2022, he was fully confident that the interests of OBCs would be taken care of, but it did not happen.

Vikram Chaudhary said that nothing has been done by the Congress Party to resolve the issues of OBC. Out of the total 418 PCC, DCC and BCC members, only eight OBC members have been accommodated.

Apart from this, the demand for validity of OBC certificate, 18 percent reservation in higher education and implementation of 18 percent reservation in first, second, third and fourth class jobs in government, appointment of OBC members in HPPSC and subordinate has been long pending.
