In a joint press conference, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that as soon as the Lok Sabha elections come, the BJP adopts all kinds of tactics to gain power. CM Sukhu said that this is a violation of democratic values. Congress strongly opposes this. Congress is not going to be scared of this. CM Sukhu asked why the independent MLAs resigned, did they resign on the basis of currency notes? This is playing with public sentiments. The public believes that toppling the elected government is not in the interest of democracy. On the Kejriwal case, he said that putting a Chief Minister behind bars in this manner is not right for democracy.
