Chief Minister said that former Dharamshala MLA Sudhir Sharma is the leader of the rebels, he might have received more than Rs 15 crore. All the exploits of the six former MLAs who joined BJP will come to light in the public court. Cases of those who have acquired disproportionate assets will also be opened.

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Nadaun, April 05: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Friday once again launched a scathing attack on the rebel MLAs and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur. Talking to journalists in Nadaun, the Chief Minister said that former Dharamshala MLA Sudhir Sharma is the leader of the rebels, he might have received more than Rs 15 crore. All the exploits of the six former MLAs who joined BJP will come to light in the public court. Cases of those who have acquired disproportionate assets will also be opened.
The Chief Minister said that Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur’s hunger for power has increased. If they could not form the government on the basis of votes, now they are trying to capture power on the basis of currency notes. Jairam Thakur should keep this in mind that the public has rejected BJP. In other states, BJP captured power with the help of currency notes and wanted to do the same in Himachal. But, God is with us and he has given us an opportunity to serve the public.

Thakur Sukhvinder Singh said that the public will never make the sellable win. Development Works worth Rs 300 to 400 crore has been done in the assembly constituencies of rebel MLAs. SDM, BDO, Tehsildar, Executive Engineer and SDO were appointed as per their wish, yet they were sold. It should not happen in politics that after becoming an MLA, one should start repaying the amount spent in elections and if there is no earning, then one should hatch a conspiracy to topple the government. The character of sellable MLAs has been exposed before the public.

The Chief Minister said that Congress fought before and after independence. First there was the fight to liberate the country, later to put the country on its feet. When the country became independent, even needles were not made. Many Congress leaders and workers, including two Prime Ministers and a former Chief Minister, have sacrificed their lives for the country. The ideology of Congress is to take the country forward.
Situation On Tickets Will Be Clear On Saturday –
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh said that a screening committee meeting will be held in Delhi on Saturday to finalize the tickets for Lok Sabha elections and assembly by-elections. After that the names will be sent to the Central Election Committee. The situation regarding tickets will be clear by evening.
