Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, March 08: Six disqualified Congress MLAs, including three independent MLAs, have been shifted from Chandigarh to Dehradun. According to sources, all the nine MLAs have been kept in Mussoorie or Rishikesh. All nine MLAs were taken to Dehradun via chartered plane from Chandigarh on Friday afternoon. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, while addressing a public meeting in Baijnath in Kangra district, had said that six rebel Congress MLAs and three independent MLAs kept in Chandigarh have been shifted elsewhere.

The six rebel Congress MLAs shifted from Chandigarh to Dehradun include Indradutt Lakhanpal, Sudhir Sharma, Rajinder Rana, Ravi Thakur, Chaitanya Sharma and Devendra Bhutto. The independent MLAs include Hoshyar Singh, KL Thakur and Ashish Sharma.

Let us tell you, six disqualified Congress Party MLAs have challenged the decision of Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania in the Supreme Court. All Eyes are now fixed on the Supreme Court.

After the decision coming from the Supreme Court, BJP will work on the upcoming strategy. Let us tell you that despite the Congress government having majority, six MLAs who indulged in cross-voting after Rajya Sabha seats went to BJP were disqualified. Himachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania had taken this action under the anti-defection law. The rebel MLA was staying in a hotel in Chandigarh for a long time. Now six disqualified Congress MLAs and three independent MLAs have been shifted to Uttarakhand.
