Himachal Pradesh Police has achieved first position by performing brilliantly in Crime and Criminal Network Tracking and System (CCTNS) under the year 2023. Himachal Pradesh Police has been honoured in the two-day Good Practices CCTNS/ISEJS annual function organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, in New Delhi on Thursday. Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, while conveying his best wishes to the entire Himachal Pradesh Police Department on this wonderful achievement of Himachal Pradesh Police. CM Sukhu said that Himachal Pradesh Police has been working in the hilly and remote areas of Himachal Pradesh as well as in all the North-Eastern States CCTNS has been performing brilliantly and securing the first position for four consecutive years.

Honourable Chief Minister Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that Himachal Pradesh Police has achieved this amazing feat by outperforming many North-Eastern states by performing brilliantly in CCTNS. CM Sukhu said that the CCTNS project was implemented thanks to the tireless and collective efforts of the Himachal Pradesh Police officers and the state level CCTNS team working at all remote regional levels under SCRB under the able guidance of senior Himachal Pradesh Police officers involved in implementing the CCTNS project. This wonderful achievement has been achieved By Himachal Pradesh Police for the fourth consecutive year. Himachal Pradesh Director General of Police Dr. Sanjay Kundu has expressed special gratitude to CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for the special help and guidance from the Himachal Pradesh Government to further improve the functioning of the Himachal Pradesh Police Department.
Himachal Pradesh Director General of Police, Dr. Sanjay Kundu said that the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), New Delhi have been appointed by the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, to completely monitor the implementation and excellent performance of the CCTNS project in all the States and Union Territories of India. This ranking is decided based on the performance of all state-wise CCTNS projects based on already determined parameters. Himachal Pradesh has completely ensured the successful implementation of the CCTNS project along with meeting all the standards of the respective state of the CCTNS project of the Government of India. The CCTNS project of the Government of India has performed brilliantly by Himachal Pradesh Police securing the top position in the year 2020, 2021 and 2022 as well as in the year 2023.
