Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Hamirpur, April 04: The news of death of two people has been received under Nadaun police station area of Hamirpur district. According to the information received, a young man of Nepali origin was buried under iron plates when the shuttering of a gangway fell during the ongoing four-lane construction work near Nadaun Hospital. The youth was referred to Hamirpur after first aid at Nadaun Hospital, where he died during treatment.

The deceased has been identified as Dhanveer (29) son of Maqbool. He was living with his family in Ward 1 of Nadaun and his father had taken the contract for this Shed. After the incident, the father carried his injured son on his shoulders and took him to Nadaun hospital. The young man was married.

On the other hand, in the second case, a person from Nadaun died under suspicious circumstances. The deceased has been identified as 72-year-old Somnath. A function was to be organized at home on 11th April but the family’s happiness turned into sadness. In this regard, police station in-charge Nadaun Baburam Sharma said that a case has been registered in both the incidents and further investigation is being done.
