Himachal News: Two Congress and one BJP candidates won in by-elections of three assembly constituencies
Shimla, July 13: A spokesperson of the Election Department informed that in the by-elections of three assembly constituencies of Himachal Pradesh, Indian National Congress (INC) candidates won two seats and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate won one seat.
In Dehra assembly constituency, Congress candidate Kamlesh Thakur defeated his nearest rival BJP’s Hoshyar Singh by 9399 votes, while in Hamirpur assembly constituency, BJP’s Ashish Sharma defeated Congress’ Dr. Pushpinder Verma by 1571 votes.
In Nalagarh assembly constituency, Congress candidate Hardeep Singh Bawa defeated his nearest rival BJP’s KL Thakur by 8990 votes.

Dehra Assembly Constituency –
In Dehra Assembly Constituency of Kangra District, Kamlesh Thakur of Indian National Congress (INC) got 32737 votes, Hoshyar Singh of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) got 23338 votes and Independent candidate Sulekha Devi got 171 votes, Arun Ankesh Syal got 67 votes and Advocate Sanjay Sharma got 43 votes, while 150 chose NOTA.
Hamirpur Assembly Constituency
Ashish Sharma of BJP got 27041 votes from Hamirpur Assembly Constituency, Dr. Pushpinder Verma of Indian National Congress got 25470 votes and Independent candidate Nand Lal Sharma got 74 votes, while 198 chose NOTA.
Nalagarh Assembly Constituency-
Hardeep Singh Bawa of Indian National Congress got 34608 votes from Nalagarh Assembly Constituency, BJP K.L. Thakur got 25618 votes, independent candidate Harpreet Singh Saini got 13025 votes, Swabhiman Party’s Kishori Lal Sharma got 492 votes and independent candidate Vijay Singh got 353 votes while 446 chose NOTA.
