Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Nahan, June 14 :A heartbreaking case of a child’s death due to burning in fire has come to light in Giripar area of ​​Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh.The tragic accident occurred when the child was trying to extinguish the fire that had broken out in the grasslands.Twelve year old Abhishek was admitted in a very critical condition to the Civil Hospital Paonta Sahib for first aid after being burnt in the fire, Due to his critical condition, the doctors referred him to PGI Chandigarh where the twelve year old Abhishek died four days later during treatment.

Giripar police station in-charge said that a fire suddenly broke out in the grasslands on Sunday in village Dimanu of Badwas Panchayat, Due to which people living in nearby residential houses also reached the spot to extinguish the fierce fire that suddenly broke out in the grasslands. Then Abhishek, aged twelve years, son of Mohan Singh also reached to extinguish the fire, but suddenly Abhishek’s feet slipped and he fell in the fierce fire that broke out in the grasslands and was severely burnt.

Due to severe burns in the fire, Abhishek was immediately taken to Civil Hospital Paonta Sahib by his family, where after first aid by the senior doctor, ninety percent of twelve-year-old Abhishek’s body was burnt and he was referred to PGI Chandigarh.

The injured Abhishek was taken to PGI Chandigarh by the family in critical condition, where twelve-year-old Abhishek died during treatment on Thursday morning.

Barwas Panchayat Pradhan Nirmala Devi said that a wave of mourning has spread in the village Dimanu of Badwas Panchayat due to the death of 12-year-old Abhishek during treatment at PGI Chandigarh after being caught in a terrible fire.
