Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Una, June 07 :After the removal of the model code of conduct for the Lok Sabha elections, the recruitment process of teachers is starting in the government schools of Himachal Pradesh.
Under the batchwise recruitment process, the TGT and JBT teachers are to be appointed in new schools after the counseling process that was completed in November and December last year.
Now the Himachal Pradesh government has ordered the education department that the recruitment of TGT and JBT teachers is to be done in those government schools of the state where the government schools are being run by a single teacher and the number of children is very high.
According to the Himachal Pradesh Education Department In the tribal areas of the state, there is only one teacher in many government schools, and the number of children is very high.Most of the TGT and JBT teachers have been appointed in urban areas.
Due to which, after the batchwise recruitment process, the appointment of JBT and TGT teachers in government schools falling under the tribal areas of the state will be given by the Education Department after the orders of the Himachal Pradesh Government.
All the appointments are to be made on JBT and TGT batchwise basis in the government schools of Himachal Pradesh.Due to the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct in the Lok Sabha elections in Himachal Pradesh, the matter of JBT and TGT batchwise recruitment was hanging.1023 TGTs have been selected through batchwise recruitment in the government schools of the state. Orders are now going to be issued for the appointments of all 1023 teachers.
Along with this, the counseling process for batchwise recruitment of JBT on 1161 posts was completed.Let us tell you that the result of the batchwise counseling conducted during October and November 2023 was declared by the Directorate of Elementary Education on 13 March.In the result, 496 candidates of TGT Arts, 333 of Non Medical and 194 of Medical were selected.
