Himachal News: Sukhu Government Gave Preference To Youth And Experienced Officers In Bureaucratic Transfers.

On completion of one year, the Himachal Pradesh government has shown restraint in making transfers and after examining all the officers, they have assigned important responsibilities. In previous BJP governments, there has often been a tradition of changing the Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police of the districts as soon as they assumed power.

In all the bureaucratic transfers made by the Himachal Pradesh Government, the Himachal Pradesh Government has given priority to young and experienced officers on important posts.

On completion of one year, the Himachal Pradesh government showed restraint in making transfers and assigned important responsibilities to all the officers only after examining them.

In previous BJP governments, there has often been a tradition of changing the Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police of the districts as soon as they assumed power.

On the contrary, Honorable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has broken the tradition of Bharatiya Janata Party governments in the transfers of bureaucracy.

Due to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, as per the guidelines of the Election Commission, all the officers who were working at one place for three consecutive years have been transferred and posted at the new place.

If the Lok Sabha elections in the year 2024 had not come in the way, then the transfers of bureaucracy could have taken more time.

Before making the transfer, Honorable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Mr. Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, had held deep consultations with all the top officials regarding each post for about two weeks.

After that, on Wednesday night, a notification was issued releasing the list of complete transfers.

To take advantage of the experience of IAS officer Amarjeet Singh, who has been holding the charge of Special Secretary, Personnel and Finance, Government of Himachal Pradesh for a long time, IAS officer Amarjeet Singh has been posted by CM Sukhu as Deputy Commissioner in his home district Hamirpur.

IAS officer Amarjeet Singh has been handling the responsibility of Personnel Department in the previous governments for a long time.

IAS officer Amarjeet Singh has also held the important post of Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Shimla in the previous Virbhadra Singh government.

Similarly, experienced IAS officer Anupam Kashyap has been given the important responsibility of the post of Deputy Commissioner of the capital Shimla.

IAS officer Anupam Kashyap also has long administrative experience in previous governments.

Apart from this, young IAS officer Hemraj Bairwa, IAS officer Torul S. In view of the work performance of Ravish and IAS officer Apoorva Devgan, CM Sukhu has now been given the responsibility of Deputy Commissioner of big districts of Himachal Pradesh.

IAS officer Hemraj Bairwa has now been given the important responsibility of Deputy Commissioner of Kangra district after Hamirpur district.

IAS officer Torul S. After Kinnaur district, Ravish has now been given the important responsibility of Deputy Commissioner of Kullu district.

After Chamba district, IAS officer Apoorva Devgan has now been given the responsibility of Deputy Commissioner of Mandi district.

IT Director Mukesh Repswal has been given the responsibility of Chamba District Deputy Commissioner.

Director Finance and Personnel, Himachal Pradesh Electricity Board has been given the responsibility of Kinnaur District Deputy Commissioner.

Director Skill Development Corporation, IAS officer Jatin Lal has been given the responsibility of Una District Deputy Commissioner.

The services of old Deputy Commissioners of Himachal Pradesh and young IAS officers Raghav Sharma, Nipun Jindal, Ashutosh Garg and Arindam Chaudhary in various administrative departments in Shimla Secretariat are going to be taken over by CM Sukhu.

Many IAS officers will be deployed in various vacant departments of Himachal Pradesh Government –

After the transfers in Himachal Pradesh, new appointments are going to be made in many departments which became vacant.

In Himachal Pradesh, the posts of Special Secretary Personnel, Director IT, Director Transport and Managing Director Electronics Corporation have become vacant.

IAS officers handling various departments have been entrusted with the important responsibility of the post of Deputy Commissioner of various districts by the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
