Himachal News – Sukhu Government Fired 1844 Corona Outsourced Employees, Dismissal Orders Being Sent Home

Employees have started a movement against the government over the termination of outsourced employees, on Tuesday all the dismissed outsourced employees will hold a meeting with Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu at Shimla Secretariat.

The ruling Congress government of Himachal Pradesh has thrown out 1,844 Corona outsourced employees. Dismissal notices are being sent to all these employees by email and dismissal letters are being sent to their homes.

Outsourced employees gave their services in Corona by risking their lives –

The dismissed outsourced employees were appointed in the Corona wards and OPDs of all the main hospitals of Himachal Pradesh, and the responsibility of all the lab test reports of the Corona patients was also handed over to the outsourced employees. All these employees have been fired from their jobs by the Himachal Pradesh government. Life is in danger and in this regard all the dismissed employees will hold a meeting with Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu ji at Shimla Secretariat on Tuesday.

BJP had agitated in Himachal Pradesh monsoon session –

The issue of dismissal of outsourced employees during the monsoon session of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly was raised prominently in the proceedings of the monsoon session by Bharatiya Janata Party leader of opposition Jairam Thakur and all the opposition MLAs and the Himachal Pradesh government had asked the Himachal Pradesh government to fire all these employees. There were demands regarding their reinstatement in the job, but despite the public anger movement of the Bharatiya Janata Party, these demands are not being heard and dismissal letters are being sent to the outsourced employees regarding their termination. Are.

Outsourced employees provided services day and night –

Himachal Pradesh Corona Outsourced Employees Union President Anjali Bhardwaj, while talking to Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma, said that due to Corona virus, Himachal Pradesh government had appointed staff nurses, lab technicians, ward boys, pharmacists, cooks and drivers and conductors. All the outsourced employees have served day and night in all the hospitals of Himachal Pradesh Government without taking any leave. By visiting villages during Corona virus, all the villagers were made aware about deadly diseases like Corona. Where teams of government employees were not able to reach, outsourced employees have provided their services.

Outsourced employees are not getting salaries for six months-

Despite providing major services in all the important hospitals of Himachal Pradesh, outsourced employees have not received salaries for the last six months. This serious issue has also been put before the government but despite only assurances, no action has been taken.
