Himachal News: Strict Rules For Construction Of New Buildings In Himachal Pradesh Will Come Into Effect At The End Of February.

Strictness has been imposed in the construction of new buildings in Himachal Pradesh. Himachal Pradesh government has set new rules for construction of new buildings to maintain proper distance from drains and ravines. In the new rules, a provision has been made by the Himachal Pradesh government that even if rivers and drains are not mentioned in the revenue records, rules have been made to construct new buildings only by leaving five meters from the drain and 7 meters from the ravines.
Due to the heart-wrenching natural disaster in Himachal Pradesh, there was huge damage to the old buildings. Besides, the old buildings built on the banks of drains and ravines were also completely damaged in the natural disaster. Besides, compensation worth crores of rupees was also given to the damaged buildings by the Himachal Pradesh government. According to the old provisions in Himachal Pradesh, earlier construction of new buildings was allowed at a distance of three meters from drains and 5 meters from ravines.
