Lahaul Spiti Police takes strict action on dangerous driving video
Shimla, July 11:Tourists in Himachal Pradesh are still not refraining from risking their lives. Recently a video has surfaced from Spiti Valley, which shows tourists hanging on a tempo traveller. This video is going viral rapidly.

On the other hand, as soon as it came to notice, Lahaul Spiti Police has taken strict action. A girl’s life was narrowly saved during such a dangerous stunt on the Kalka-Shimla Highway.
Lahaul Spiti Police has issued a challan of Rs 2500/- against the tempo traveller shown in the video for violating the Motor Vehicles Act 1988.
Lahaul Spiti Superintendent of Police Mayank Chaudhary said that this action has been taken with the aim of making people aware about road safety.
Mayank Chaudhary said, “We appeal to the people to follow traffic rules and be alert about their own and others’ safety. He further said that strict legal action will be taken against those who violate traffic rules in Lahaul Spiti district. Lahaul Spiti Police is always ready to serve and protect the public.
