Himachal News: Strict action by Kullu Police, 733 bottles of illegal liquor recovered

Kullu, April 17:The police have geared up for the Lok Sabha and Assembly by-elections in Himachal Pradesh and in this series, special teams of Kullu Police have registered three cases of illegal liquor boxes and strict action is being taken against the accused.

In all the three illegal liquor cases, police teams have seized 733 raw liquor and English liquor from the accused and further action is being taken.

According to the information received from Kullu Police, in the first case, the special team investigated a car number HP-02-1026 in Manali and recovered 24 bottles of liquor during patrolling. Along with this, the accused Suchit Kumar has been arrested by the police.

In the second case, the police special team in Bhuntar seized 682 bottles of desi, English and beer from a private store and arrested the accused Rakesh.

Apart from this, in the last case, the special team of Sainj Police has seized 27 boxes of illicit liquor from the house of accused Girdhari Lal in Dehuri and has taken the accused into remand.
