Shimla – Winter opening of primary and middle schools in Himachal Pradesh has been banned by the Himachal Pradesh government. Due to which this important decision has been taken by the Directorate of Elementary Education due to the annual examinations in December 2023.
Himachal Pradesh Directorate of Elementary Education has imposed a complete ban on all types of sports and cultural activities in winter primary schools and middle schools across Himachal Pradesh.
This important decision has been taken by the Himachal Pradesh Directorate of Elementary Education due to the annual examinations in all primary and middle schools in Himachal Pradesh in December 2023.
In Himachal Pradesh, the Himachal Pradesh Directorate of Elementary Education has been asked to completely ban all non-academic activities by schools during November and December.
Also, Himachal Pradesh Directorate of Elementary Education has issued a notification saying that the board examinations of classes 3, 5 and 8 are to be conducted by the Himachal Pradesh School Education Board in the month of December.
The annual examinations of all other classes will also be conducted by the Himachal Pradesh School Education Board during the first week of December.
Due to which, Himachal Pradesh Directorate of Elementary Education has banned sports and cultural activities in schools during the months of November and December in all the concerned schools.
Himachal Pradesh Directorate of Elementary Education has issued a notification stating that no such activities should be carried out which may affect the education level of the students.
