A twenty-six-year-old youth, Rahul, died due to severe dengue in Medical College Nahan, Himachal Pradesh on Thursday.
Twenty-six-year-old youth Rahul, son of Ratan Singh, resident of Puruwala, was referred to the Medical College Nahan from a private hospital in Paonta Sahib of Sirmour district.
Twenty-six year old youth Rahul died completely after six hours in the Medical College, Nahan.
This is the first case of death to be reported in the entire Himachal Pradesh due to dengue this season.
There is a stir in the Himachal Pradesh Health Department regarding the continuously increasing cases of dengue.
Junior doctors of the Medical College Nahan told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that 26-year-old Rahul, who died of dengue, died due to his platelets falling below 50,000.
First of all, the family members of twenty-six year old youth Rahul admitted him to Paonta Sahib Civil Hospital, but due to his increasingly serious condition, he was taken to the private hospital of Paonta Sahib, but due to his health not improving in the private hospital. And considering his serious condition, he was referred from the private hospital to the Medical College, Nahan.
The young man died after about six hours during treatment at the Medical College, Nahan.
The most important thing is that in Sirmour district of Himachal Pradesh, more than twenty cases of dengue are being reported every day for the last one week and there is panic in the Himachal Pradesh Health Department.
More than 500 cases have been registered in Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh in the last two months.
Senior Medical Superintendent of Himachal Pradesh Medical College, Nahan, Dr. Naveen Gupta told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that the youth was completely suffering from dengue for about a month, the youth died only after treatment.
