Shimla- The proposal to get salary during holidays to one thousand SMC teachers of Himachal Pradesh has also been approved by the Directorate of Higher Education. Two thousand five hundred fifty five SMC teachers are working in all the schools of Himachal Pradesh state and about one thousand teachers are providing their services under the Directorate of Higher Education.
Nearly one thousand SMC teachers working in government schools of Himachal Pradesh will also be provided holiday salary. On the guidelines of Himachal Pradesh Government’s Education Minister Rohit Thakur, Himachal Pradesh Higher Education Directorate Board has approved this entire proposal.
In Himachal Pradesh, the pay scale has not been provided to all the teachers in the month of January and February of the year 2023. Also, the holiday salaries of all the teachers have been paid by Himachal Pradesh Directorate of Elementary Education.
Two thousand five hundred fifty five are providing their services in all the schools of Himachal Pradesh. On the other hand, approximately one thousand teachers are working under the Himachal Pradesh Higher Education Directorate Board.
All teachers have not yet been paid holiday salaries. Recently, when a delegation of teachers met the Education Minister of Himachal Pradesh Government, Rohit Thakur, regarding the pending salaries, this serious issue was raised with complete details.
Himachal Pradesh Government’s Education Minister Rohit Thakur has directed the Himachal Pradesh Higher Education Director to pay the outstanding salaries to all these teachers.
Himachal Pradesh Directorate of Elementary Education has already transferred the salaries of all its teachers.
On the other hand, Himachal Pradesh Higher Education Directorate Board has also started the entire process of fixing holiday salaries.
It is possible that all these outstanding salaries will be paid in the first week of November.
