A high level delegation led by Harsh Vardhan Chauhan, Minister for Industries and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of Himachal Pradesh, has visited the prestigious Arab Health 2024 program. During the Arab Health 2024 programme, a high level delegation from the Government of Himachal Pradesh has concluded important talks with Dubai investors in the medical device and pharma sector and has also generated substantial interest with all stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem. As a result, a series of successful Business-to-Government (B2G) meetings were also held on Tuesday with all potential investors from Dubai.

Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth more than Rs 2300 crore have been signed in key sectors such as medical devices, bulk pharmaceuticals, tourism, AYUSH and green energy.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) worth more than Rs 2300 crore has been signed in the presence of Himachal Pradesh Government Principal Secretary Industries RD Nazim, Director Industries Rakesh Kumar Prajapati, Additional Director Tilak Raj Sharma.

Paras Arora, Partner, Ernst & Young LLP, Navreet Singh Beling, Director, and Dinesh Chauhan, Senior Advisor, all senior advisors, were also present during a series of Business-to-Government (B2G) meetings.

Investors representing leading companies from India, UAE, Japan and other countries have been warmly welcomed by Harsh Vardhan Chauhan, Minister of Industry and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of Himachal Pradesh. During the Arab Health 2024 programme, Harsh Vardhan Chauhan, Industries Minister, Government of Himachal Pradesh, underlined the visionary goals of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu to transform Himachal Pradesh into a favorable green investment destination.

Highlighting the Bulk Drug Park and Medical Device Park at Haroli in Una district of Himachal Pradesh, Dr. Harsh Vardhan Chauhan laid emphasis on the strong pharma ecosystem in the entire Himachal Pradesh.

To encourage investment in Himachal Pradesh, Industries Minister Harsh Vardhan Chauhan also highlighted key policy incentives aimed at reducing the cost of manufacturing for both the Bulk Drugs Park and Medical Device Park at Haroli in Una district of Himachal Pradesh. In this regard, Himachal Pradesh Government has also given assurance of full support. The result of this important meeting was that MOUs worth more than Rs 2300 crore were signed on Tuesday.
