Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, May 07:Thirty-five huts could not be saved from the fire due to a short circuit in the settlements of migrant laborers on Tuesday afternoon in Old Hoshiarpur Road under Una district of Himachal Pradesh.

Due to the heat wave, the fire was not stopping and the fire in one hut has made thirty-five huts its victims. This massive fire broke out in the absence of migrant laborers, due to which the fire could not be controlled.

Fire Department Officer Nitin Dhiman said that as soon as the news of the massive fire in thirty-five huts of migrant laborers on Old Hoshiarpur Road in Una district was received, the fire department team reached the spot and extinguished the fire. Thirty-five huts could not be saved. Rest of the huts have been saved. Loss worth lakhs of rupees will be assessed and report will be given.
