The main accused has also been arrested by Kasauli police. On Thursday, Gurtej Singh, a resident of Punjab, lodged a report at Kasauli police station that he had come to Kasauli with friends. Took three rooms in a guest house at Kimmu Ghat, stayed there for the night.

Checked out from guest house at 11:30 am on Friday. On reaching near Sanwara Toll Plaza, he realized that he did not have the wrist watch in his hand, after which he returned back to the guest house with his friends. After reaching here, he told the owner that the watch was left in the bathroom, which was kept in the hanger in the bathroom while taking bath.

Gurtej Singh told that he had bought the watch from England in the month of September last year, which is from Boss Company (BOSS Watches). The watch is priced at Rs 1 lakh in Indian currency. Kasauli Police registered a case under sections of theft.

During the investigation, 25-year-old accused Akhilesh resident of Motihari was arrested on Friday. The watch stolen from the accused has also been recovered. The criminal records already registered against the accused are being investigated. SP Solan Gaurav Singh has confirmed the matter.
