KL Thakur said that he belonged to BJP and will remain in BJP. He had gone on a long leave for some reason and came back to BJP after the leave ended. But he will never say Jai to Congress.
KL Thakur had contested the elections as an independent candidate on the request of the people here. Since there was a Congress government in the state, he had supported the Congress for development here, but since no work was done in the Congress, he thought it best to return home. He left the job and joined BJP at the same place in 2012 and now joined BJP again at the same place.
