Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, June 08 :After the results of the Lok Sabha elections and assembly by-elections in Himachal Pradesh, the transfers have begun once again as soon as the model code of conduct was lifted.The ruling Congress government of Himachal Pradesh has first issued the transfer order of the SP of CM’s home district Hamirpur.IPS officer Bhagat Singh will be the new SP of Hamirpur district.
Let us tell you that IPS officer Bhagat Singh is a 2015 batch IPS officer and was posted as Commandant in the third battalion Pandoh of Mandi district.
Padam Chand, who was the SP of Hamirpur district, has now been posted as Commandant in the third battalion Pandoh by the Himachal Pradesh government.
The transfer notification of Hamirpur district SP Padam Chand was issued by Himachal Pradesh Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena late on Friday evening.
This is the first transfer order issued by the Congress government after the Election Commission lifted the model code of conduct in Himachal Pradesh.According to information received from reliable sources, Congress government will transfer officers on a large scale in the coming days.
It is worth noting that due to the Lok Sabha elections and assembly by-elections, the ruling Congress government did not have the power to transfer officers and issue posting orders. Also, all development was at a standstill.
