Shimla, June 26: There is sad news of the husband’s death on the spot and two persons getting injured as a result of the driver’s negligence when the Bolero camper vehicle backed up and fell into a deep gorge near Ganvi under Jhakri area of ​​Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh.
Among the two injured, the condition of the deceased husband’s wife is also said to be critical in Khaneri Hospital.
The deceased has been identified as Ram Lal, age 48 years, resident of Molgi.
In the entire accident, the condition of deceased Ram Lal’s wife Radha Devi, age 48 years, and Bolero camper driver Arjun, age 34 years, is said to be critical in Khaneri Hospital.
The negligence of Bolero camper driver Arjun is said to be the main reason for the heart-wrenching accident that happened late evening on Tuesday.
Shimla Police Officer said that Bolero Camper vehicle number HP 25A-1850 was going from Kotlu Jury towards Molgi. There were four people including a couple in the Bolero Camper. These included Molgi resident Ram Lal (48), Radha Devi (42) wife of Ram Lal, driver Arjun (34) and Bagdu Ram (43).

When the Bolero Camper vehicle reached near Ganvi, the Bolero Camper was not able to move forward on the climb and suddenly started to back up. Then Bagdu Ram, who was riding in the Bolero Camper vehicle, got down from the Bolero Camper vehicle to put a stone on the rear tyre of the Bolero Camper vehicle. But the Bolero camper vehicle backed up rapidly and fell 70 meters below the road into a very deep Ganvi ravine. Due to this, Molgi resident Ram Lal died on the spot. Due to serious injuries to deceased Ramlal’s wife Radha Devi and Bolero camper driver Arjun, both are said to be in critical condition in Khaneri hospital.
After the accident of the Bolero camper vehicle, the Shimla police team reached the spot and started rescue and relief work. Along with this, the police took the body of Molgi resident Ram Lal in their custody and sent it for postmortem. Apart from this, both the injured were taken to Khaneri hospital and admitted.
In the initial investigation of Shimla police, it has come to light that the Bolero camper accident occurred due to careless driving by driver Arjun.
DSP Rampur Naresh Sharma said that the postmortem of the body of Molgi resident Ram Lal, who died in the Bolero Camper accident, is being completed. The condition of both the injured is said to be critical in Khaneri Hospital. A case has been registered under IPC sections 279, 337, 304A regarding the entire accident and investigation has been started.
