Hamirpur, June 23: A case of the painful death of a soldier posted in the Indian Army in a road accident has come to light. The soldier had come home for a leave when this heartbreaking accident occurred.

The Sujanpur police station in-charge and his team reached the spot and took the body of the deceased soldier in their custody and sent it to Medical College Hamirpur for postmortem.

Along with this, the entire case has been registered and investigation has been started.

The Sujanpur police station in-charge has identified the deceased Indian Army soldier as Suresh Kumar alias Pappu.

Sujanpur Police Station Incharge Kuldeep Patial said that a bus number (HP67 5182) of Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation Management was going from Hamirpur to Jangal Beri in Village Panchayat Bajrol, which comes under Sujanpur Assembly constituency. As soon as the HRTC bus reached Bajrol, it collided with a motorcycle. After the collision, the motorcyclist fell on the road and blood started flowing from his head and leg. The seriously injured person was taken to Civil Hospital Sujanpur where the seriously injured person was declared dead by senior doctors.

Sujanpur Police Station Inspector, Kuldeep Patial, said that a case has been registered against the driver of the Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation bus for driving at high speed and causing the accident by hitting the motorcycle hard.

Sujanpur Police Station Incharge Kuldeep Patial said that the body of the deceased motorcyclist has been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem to Medical College Hamirpur.
