Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, April 26: Large consignment of Chitta has been busted from Luhri village by the team of Kumarsain police station of Upper Shimla area in the capital Shimla.

In which a large consignment of one hundred and eleven grams of Chitta has been seized from a young man by the team of the local police station.

The young man is a resident of Kullu district but the price of 111 grams of chittha is around five to six crore rupees in the international market.

Along with arresting the accused, Kumarsain police have registered a case and are carrying out strict interrogation.

The accused will be interrogated for about twenty to twenty-five rounds to find out from where he got the large consignment of one hundred and eleven grams of Chitta worth crores of rupees.

An officer of Kumarsain police said that the accused has links with big smugglers and soon all the big smugglers are going to be arrested in the entire case.

According to the complete information, last Thursday night, all the vehicles coming and going were being strictly checked by the teams of the local police station by placing barricades in Kani Nala of National Highway-305 adjacent to Luhri village. While checking one by one, a car was also stopped by the police, then the driver got scared after seeing the police, the police team asked the driver to show all the documents of the car, Then as soon as the driver opened the dashboard, one hundred and eleven grams of original heroin was found out. The accused has been identified by Kumarsain police as Neeraj Kumar, age thirty-six years, main resident of Anni, Kullu district.

With the police team arresting the accused with immediate effect, the car has also been deposited in the government treasury.
