Himachal News : Champa Thakur, former Congress candidate from Sadar of Mandi district and former District Council President, says that the state government is providing all possible help to the disaster affected families.
He told that about four and a half thousand schemes of MNREGA have been implemented by the government, due to which people have got employment. Apart from this, Rs 4 lakh will be given to the family of the person who lost his life during the disaster and Rs 2.5 lakh in case of disability. Provision has been made.
People whose houses have been destroyed in the disaster are also being given land and financial assistance by the government. On this occasion, Champa Thakur held a review meeting with officials of various departments and Panchayat heads regarding relief works.
Champa Thakur said – The meeting that was held with the officers and employees as per the orders of the government, that the government is working and the eligible people in disaster and tragedy, that the government is giving relief to them, the meeting was held today with those departments and how many went to our homes. How many cattle were destroyed and how many lives were lost and how much animal wealth was lost. Today we discussed about it in full detail and also for the dead bodies that have been found, Rs 4 lakh is being given by the government, so they were given assistance and the money and your ration are being delivered to their homes.
