A retired employee of Yol lost Rs 53.50 lakh to miscreants. The victim had also taken a loan against his FD, which he also handed over to the vicious people due to a little greed.

In another case, a person from Sidhbari was also cheated of Rs 8.22 lakh. The miscreants have defrauded two people of Rs 61.72 lakh. When the victims realized that they were cheated, they lodged a complaint at Cyber Police Station Dharamshala.

In both these cases, the complainants have deposited the amount in different accounts of the miscreants through 29 transactions. A person resident of Yol has been defrauded of Rs 53.50 lakh by vicious thugs through a fake website.

A person doing online trading was lured by miscreants and created a fake website in the name of an institutional account. In this, the person kept depositing money while doing online trading and the people kept cheating him.

To make the trading amount appear to go into the person account, a fake website was created. On this, the person trusted the swindlers and deposited an amount of Rs 53.50 lakh in the accounts of the miscreants through about 21 transactions. After realizing that he was cheated, the person lodged a complaint at Cyber Police Station, Dharamshala.

In the second case, a person resident of Sidhbari near Dharamshala was cheated of Rs 8,22,250. A person got trapped in the trap of fraudsters while doing online trading.

The thugs lured him to earn good money, due to which the person deposited this amount in the thugs’ account through eight transactions, but when the money did not come through trading, the victim lodged a complaint at Cyber Police Station Dharamshala.

On the complaint of cheating from two people of Yol and Sidhbari, a case has been registered and investigation is being done. ASP Praveen Dhiman has appealed to the general public to be cautious of cyber thugs. ASP Praveen Dhiman said that in order to get more money, do not fall into the trap of cyber fraudsters.
