Una, July 21: An old man died after being hit by a train in Barsara of Una district of Himachal Pradesh. The deceased has been identified as Garib Das son of Viru Ram resident of Rakkar Post Office Jalgran Tabba District Una. After receiving the information, the Railway Police reached the spot and took the body in their custody and sent it to the Regional Hospital Una for post-mortem.
According to the information, Garib Das resident of Rakkar was crossing the railway bridge in Barsara on Sunday afternoon. During this time, Garib Das fell down from the bridge after being hit by a train. Garib Das died on the spot in the accident.
Railway post Una in-charge SI Ajay Airy said that the family members have been informed about the matter. He said that the police is investigating the matter.
